STFC ARENAS were abandoned by DJz a long time ago, and tonight he is returning to the battlefield after nearly 15 MONTHS away! 🖖🔥 In this marathon Talking Trek livestream, we're grinding Star Trek Fleet Command Arenas, experimenting with PvP crews, ships, tactics, and forbidden tech, and discovering exactly why matchmaking, respawn timers, and arena rewards can drive players absolutely crazy. We also break down the current Battle Pass, missing ship skins, Excelsior daily improvements, Terran faction rewards, Havens progression, and the ongoing debate over what makes STFC gameplay genuinely fun and rewarding. ❤️ But the biggest victory of the night wasn't in an arena! Our Talking Trek community reached an incredible milestone for the Christmas Angel Fund benefiting Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, completing our FIRST fundraising floor and moving toward our $100,000 holiday goal! Meet Blake, our amazing 2026 patient champion, and hear about the enormous Harry Potter chess challenge DJz has planned for him. DJz went back into Incursions after more than a year away from serious PvP, and the results were NOT pretty! Tonight on Talking Trek, we're rebuilding his STFC base defense from scratch with help from the community. We're digging into defensive crew combinations, ship assignments, fleet presets, station defense abilities, combat logs, and live PvP testing to find out what actually works against powerful attackers. From weapon delays and hull breach to Mirror Universe officers and defensive platform performance, we're putting the theories to the test! But that's not all! Scopely has revealed Division 12, a Halloween-themed Star Trek Fleet Command release arriving October 15 while the larger Seasons content remains delayed. We discuss the upcoming events, new ship refits, Battle Pass rewards, and what this means for players. Plus, we're tackling the controversy surrounding Alliance Tournament store cooldowns, free-to-play progression, reward economics, and tournament balancing. Join DJz, Tarpy, and the Talking Trek community for strategy, analysis, live experimentation, and enough ridiculous banter to remind us why this community is so much fun! Major changes are happening behind the scenes at Star Trek Fleet Command, and tonight we're filling in the blanks! Scopely SVP Cam Stewart has released a new blog discussing player feedback, communication, and the future of STFC, but what wasn't said may be even more important than what was. DJz and Griffin break down the blog and reveal additional details about leadership departures, engineering and game design accountability, Bek's transition, the new community management team, and the arrival of a new general manager. We also discuss Cam's acknowledgment that progress is behind expectations, the troubled Seasons rollout, ongoing technical failures, and why rebuilding player trust requires more than another carefully worded announcement. But first, we're kicking off the 2026 Christmas Angel Fund with an ambitious $100,000 goal benefiting Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt! Griffin announces a special gift for our top fundraising contributor, and we reflect on the incredible impact this community has made for children and families over the past three years. Then it's straight into the hard questions: Is Scopely finally addressing the root causes of STFC's problems? Will new leadership deliver real results? And what does all of this mean for the future of the game? Join Talking Trek for breaking news, behind-the-scenes context, passionate community discussion, and a few laughs along the way. Tonight we head into Qoda to finally put the Level 75 Quantum Tesseract Armadas under the microscope. Can Vengeances running the Three Spocks handle them? What crews work? How important are crits, isolated damage, research and exocomps? Most importantly, IS THE LOOT ACTUALLY WORTH IT? We compare Level 75 Qoda rewards against solo Level 70 armadas with loot crews, dig into the impact of Kelcie Mae research, and come away with a surprisingly important conclusion for players trying to efficiently feed the refinery. Plus, Griffin is back, the Christmas Angel Fund continues its march toward our $100,000 goal for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, the GoWheel becomes more horrifying by the minute, we talk Alliance Tournaments and V’Ger, Maia accidentally becomes part of Squishmallow lore, and Kelcie Mae may have quietly become the Death Star of Territory Capture. It’s science, strategy, community fundraising, questionable judgment and Talking Trek chaos in one very full night. 00:00 Opening Music 08:58 Welcome to Talking Trek 21:07 Christmas Angel Fund Update 31:36 A HUGE $1,000 Donation Comes In 39:31 CN Tower Challenge & Scopely Update 53:03 Back to STFC: Qoda Armada Testing Begins 1:03:19 Breaking Down the Level 75 Tesseract Armada 1:07:40 The Challenge: Kill It Before 20 Rounds 1:18:37 Are the Level 75 Qoda Armadas Actually Worth It? 1:21:43 Soloing a Level 70 for Comparison 1:24:30 Full Loot Crew Pulls 13K 1:29:10 The Qoda Refinery & Armada Verdict 1:50:44 Maia Explains “Dogmatic” During Griffin Shenanigans 2:09:05 The UltimatDJz Squishmallow Appears 2:33:32 The GoWheel Odds Have Become Terrifying 2:37:51 Alliance Tournament Store Q&A 2:42:02 V’Ger Heroic Timing Tip 2:47:02 Kelcie Mae Territory Capture Deep Dive 2:59:53 The “Death Star of Territory Capture” 3:02:02 Final Thoughts & Christmas Angel Fund Reminder

We came into today's Talking Trek livestream wondering whether Shipyard 73 was actually within reach... and somehow we left with a brand-new Praefortis. We break down the Alliance Tournament reward fix, spend our way through the event store, talk Vengeance vs. Praefortis strategy, tackle G7 progression, Haven, player boredom, content cadence, waves, armadas and ultimately make the push all the way to Ops 73 and our newest ship. More importantly, the 2026 Christmas Angel Fund is officially underway! We're raising money directly for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt with an enormous $100,000 community goal, and you guys managed to put the first $1,000 on the board during DAY ONE. We also reveal the rules for tomorrow's DJz vs. Tarpy LEGO Chopper charity race, continue filling the October GoWheel, and somehow discuss figure skating, haunted hotels, Toronto, beefaroni and vodka along the way. Because apparently this is a perfectly normal Star Trek Fleet Command show. Havens have been live long enough for the spreadsheets to start talking, and Mad Scientist Jules Verne is back to translate! 🧪📊 We break down the STFC Haven economy from top to bottom: Resonance Charge sourcing, the Iconian Gateway, Environmental Stabilizer, Helps, Field Training, building buffs, Quark’s Bar, Alliance Tournament sourcing, and the big question every player eventually faces: should you build wide or build tall? Jules brings the math, DJz brings the questionable financial decisions, and together we look at how G6 and G7 players can build a Haven around the buffs that actually matter to their accounts. Before class begins, we also unveil the next phase of the Talking Trek Christmas Angel Fund with a $100,000 goal for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, discuss the increasingly dangerous CN Tower fundraising plan, and run through an absurd pile of October giveaways including STFC packs, LEGO, cash prizes, and a cabin aboard Star Trek: The Cruise. Come for the Haven strategy. Stay to discover why Tarpy should apparently never leave DJz unsupervised with a giveaway budget. 00:01:29 – Talking Trek Is Back! 00:05:21 – The 2026 Christmas Angel Fund Is Coming 00:08:28 – The $100,000 Goal & Helping 5,000+ Kids 00:13:08 – The Star Trek Cruise Giveaway Is Official 00:16:19 – The GoWheel Strikes Again: CN Tower EdgeWalk 00:23:17 – DJz Agrees to Dangle for $100,000 00:33:31 – LEGO, $1,000 Giveaways & October Madness 00:35:41 – How the Daily Giveaway Entries Work 00:38:08 – Tarpy Discovers the Giveaway Budget 😬 00:48:10 – Mad Scientist Jules Verne Arrives 00:59:29 – Teaching Trek: The Haven Deep Dive Begins 01:01:53 – Iconian Gateway & Resonance Charge Income 01:03:49 – Should You Upgrade the Environmental Stabilizer? 01:07:32 – Haven Field Training Bug & One-at-a-Time Trick 01:09:18 – Where Resonance Charges Actually Come From 01:11:55 – Haven Building Strategy: Chase the Buffs 01:16:58 – Quark’s Bar & Alliance Tournament Sourcing 01:26:50 – Iconian Gateway Level 10: Is It Worth the Cost? 01:35:29 – Building Wide vs. Building Tall 01:43:26 – Vengeance Summoning & the G7 Warp-Range Trick 01:49:49 – Haven Strategy for G6 Players 01:55:25 – Final Questions & Closing Thoughts
